Returns and Refunds

If you wish to cancel an order that you have placed on this web site, you may do so at any time up to eight working days after the books have been delivered to you. If you cancel an order, then you must return the books to us.

We will issue a full refund for the price of the returned books plus the original postage costs. If you wish to cancel only part of an order, we will refund postage costs on a per-item basis, using the Additional Item costs as set out on our Payment and Shipping page.

Please note that we can only refund your return postage costs for books that were received in a damaged condition, or if you wrongly received a different title from the one you ordered. If you wish to return the books for any other reason, then it is your responsibility to pay for the return postage.

Cancelling an Order

You can cancel an order by contacting us by post, fax, email or telephone. See our Contact page for details. Please note that we cannot accept cancellations or issue refunds without clear identification of the order being cancelled. When contacting us, please provide the following information, which will enable us to identify your order correctly:

	1.	The date of your order
	2.	Your name and the delivery address to which the book(s) were sent.
	3.	The title(s) of the book(s) being cancelled.

This information can be provided by sending us one of the following:

	1.	A copy of the invoice enclosed with your order, or
	2.	A copy or print-out of the email notification that was sent to you when you placed the order, or
	3.	A print-out of the order information page available in your Account History on this web site.

If you are cancelling an order because the books were received in a damaged condition, or if you received a different title from the one you ordered, please also indicate whether you wish to receive a refund or a replacement copy.

Cancelling Before Payment

If you selected the option of paying by cheque when you placed your order, you can cancel the order before you send the cheque. If you cancel an order after you have sent the cheque, then we will issue a refund if the cheque has already been received and banked, or destroy the cheque if it has not yet been banked.

Cancelling Before Delivery

If you cancel an order prior to delivery, you can refuse to accept delivery of the books when they arrive. The books will then be returned to us. If you do accept delivery, then you must return the books yourself.

Returning Books

When returning books, please enclose a copy of the following information, which will enable us to identify your order and to confirm that the correct books have been returned:

	1.	The date of your order
	2.	Your name and the delivery address to which the book(s) were sent.
	3.	The title(s) of the book(s) being returned.

This information can be provided by enclosing one of the following with the returned books:

	1.	A copy of the invoice enclosed with your order, or
	2.	A copy or print-out of the email notification that was sent to you when you placed the order, or
	3.	A print-out of the order information page available in your Account History on this web site.

Books should be returned in the condition in which they were received, if possible in the original packaging. If you are unable to use the original packaging, then please ensure that they are well-packaged before dispatch.

When posting the books back to us, we recommend that you obtain proof of postage in case of any delivery problems. When returning books of value greater than £50, you may wish to consider using a recorded delivery service.

Damaged or Incorrect Titles

If you have received a book in a damaged condition, or if the book was not the title that you ordered, you can return it to us either for a refund or for a replacement copy. When returning a damaged or incorrect title, please indicate whether you wish a refund or a replacement. If you request a replacement, we will still refund your return postage. Please note that we can only dispatch replacement items to the delivery address listed in the Address Book in your Account.

Refunds

We undertake to issue your refund as soon as possible after we receive the returned books, and no later than 30 days after receipt.

If you originally paid by credit/debit card via SagePay, then your refund will be repaid to the credit card with which you made the original purchase.

If you originally paid by cheque, then your refund will be repaid by cheque made out to your name as listed in your Account, and posted to the delivery address to which the original order was delivered.
